Lindow, Donald E. (28 MAY 1914 - 3 JUN 2002)


Donald E. Lindow, age 88, of Blaine, Minn., formerly of Chili, Clark County, entered into eternal rest at 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 3, 2002, at the Unity Hospital in Fridley, Minn.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Hansen Funeral Home in Marshfield. Pastor Dean Nelson and Mr. Lindow's son, Pastor Kenneth Lindow, will officiate. Burial will be in the Yolo Cemetery in Chili. Donald's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and again from 10 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the funeral home.

Mr. Lindow was born May 28, 1914, in the town of Fremont, a son of the late George and Alice (Ehrhardt) Lindow. He attended area schools. On Dec. 30, 1937, Donald was united in marriage to Myrtle Struck in Chili. She preceded him in death on March 24, 2000.

Donald operated a dairy farm in Clark County and did logging in the central Wisconsin area.

Mr. Lindow was a former chairman in the town of Fremont. He was a member of the American Missionary Fellowship. In his free time Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.

Survivors include his children, Darrel (Shirley) Lindow of Moro, Ill. Pastor Kenneth (Ruth) Lindow of Moscow, Pa., and Janice (Ronald) Gallion of Blaine, Minn. 14 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. One sister, Jeanette Williamson of Spearfish, S. D., further survives him.

Three brothers and one sister preceded Donald in death.
